Simple steps to open your business account
Select your business type from the list below for the documentation you’ll need to bring to open your Ent business account and get started with our business products.
What you’ll need to get started:
- Social Security number (SSN) of owner or IRS assigned Employer Identification Number (EIN) letter
- Trade name registration from SOS
- A letter, signed by you, stating you are 100% owner of your business (only if you have an EIN)
What you’ll need to get started:
- IRS-assigned Employer Identification Number (EIN) letter
- Articles of Organization from SOS
- Operating Agreement (if using an EIN) or a letter signed by the business owner stating the individual is 100% owner of the business (if using an SSN)
- Trade Name Registration, if applicable
- Certificate of Authority must be obtained from the State of Colorado if the LLC is registered in a different state
What you’ll need to get started:
- IRS-assigned Employer Identification Number (EIN) letter
- Articles of Incorporation from SOS
- Bylaws
- Board Resolution or Meeting Minutes listing officer positions
- Filed Assumed Name Certificate if corporation conducts business under an assumed name
What you’ll need to get started:
- IRS-assigned Employer Identification Number (EIN) letter
- Trade name registration from SOS
- Deposit and Borrowing Authorizations or Partnership Agreement signed by all partners
What you’ll need to get started:
- IRS-assigned Employer Identification Number (EIN) letter
- Signed meeting minutes stating the individual(s) authorized to establish or conduct business on behalf of the club or organization, signed by the president or officers of the organization. Authorized individual(s) must be an existing Ent member in good standing.
Corporate Transparency Act
To prevent money laundering, part of the Corporate Transparency Act requires businesses to electronically submit Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
