Philanthropy in Colorado: Ent gives back.

Our commitment to service goes beyond our owner-members. We regularly support nonprofits in the communities we serve up and down the Front Range as well as those with a statewide reach.

We support the communities we serve, consistent with our culture and values, while also reflecting our membership and strategic plan the credit union will, in general, make contributions to organizations, agencies, and activities that demonstrate state-wide impact in the focus areas of:

  • Child and family health and well-being
  • Higher education - primarily via Colorado-based university and community college scholarships
If your organization serves these needs, please review our Contribution Guidelines.

Serving more than our members.

In 2020, the need in the communities we serve was greater than ever. As the COVID pandemic began, we helped call attention to small businesses and awarded $100,000 through an award-winning social media campaign and donated $250,000 to three nonprofits specifically helping the most vulnerable populations. We also established a matching donation campaign that raised more than $100,000 to aid recovery efforts from the devastating Colorado wildfires. Our employees held fundraising campaigns and volunteered within their communities, utilizing their paid quarterly volunteer days to impact organizations they care about the most.

We say YES for kids.

We see young people as crucial to the present and future success of their communities. And it’s why after 21 years, we’re still approving Ent Youth Endowment Series (YES) grants to not-for-profit agencies that benefit youth. Early in the year, we invite applications from nonprofits that serve young Coloradans in our communities along the Front Range as well as those helping youth statewide.
