Get to know your new Ent credit card

 

Your new card will have the same or lower interest rate.

No, it will have a new number. So, if you have automatic or pre-authorized payments set up, you’ll need to update them with the new card number right away to avoid service interruptions.

No, your new Ent Visa® credit card will have an all-new design.

No, we won’t pull a credit report.

We’ll automatically mail your new card to you. We don’t have the ability to instantly issue credit cards at our service centers.

As long as you are not more than 60 days late on your credit card account, you have the right to opt-out which effectively closes your old card. You will still owe any balances due and you will not be able to use your account for new transactions. To opt-out, please call us by April 25, 2025. Our Member Service Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 3 PM (Mountain Time). Simply call (800) 525-9623, option 4, then option 2.

We are transferring your current credit card features and benefits to the new Ent Visa card portfolio. It will be closely matched to the benefits you enjoy today, and in many cases will be even better! We will send emails with more details in April.

Any existing special, introductory, promotional, or legally mandated rate applicable to your account will continue to be honored for the remaining balance in accordance with the original terms and applicable laws.

Ent’s new credit card portfolio uses the Visa payment network, which offers worldwide acceptance and industry-leading payment security technologies. You’ll now have access to a wide variety of Visa benefits, including purchase protections and other helpful extras when you use your Ent Visa card. Payments may now be made online, in an Ent service center, by calling Ent at (800) 525-9623 or mailing a check to: Ent Credit Union, PO Box 660493, Dallas, TX 75266-0493. If you usually pay by check, please be sure to change to the new address.

We are working with Elan to apply your payment instructions to your new Ent Visa credit card.

In some cases, a member’s payment due date could change. Please check your monthly statements to make sure you pay your monthly minimum on time.

Yes, you will be prompted to change your PIN number when you activate your new card.

If there are multiple cardholders on your current account, all will use the same credit card account number. With the Ent Visa credit card, each authorized user will have an individualized credit card with a unique account number. This makes it easier for the primary account holder to view and manage credit card activity.

No. However, you may still use your mobile device by connecting your card to a digital wallet. For more details, visit https://www.ent.com/personal/online-and-mobile/payments/.

To provide a more secure environment, rewards redemptions will no longer be performed by a contact center agent. You may view and redeem rewards by accessing your card account through online banking or downloading the Ent Credit Cards app.

From April 25 - 28, your Elan credit card transactions and statements will be migrated to a new online platform. You will not be able to access credit card transactions or statements during this time. If you’d like to download your statements before the change, simply export them by April 24.
