Ent Credit Union to Mark 500-Thousand Member Milestone by Collecting Children’s Books for Area Nonprofits
Colorado Springs, Colorado – Ent Credit Union is celebrating a major milestone—growing 500,000 members strong—by giving back to the community with a book collection drive. All 52 Ent service centers, from its southernmost location in Rye to its northernmost in Fort Collins, will collect book donations from its members. The goal? 500 books per center, all of which will be distributed to area nonprofit organizations.
In addition to the 500,000-member milestone, 2023 marks Ent Credit Union’s 66th anniversary.
“As a nonprofit organization that prides its mission on people over profit, we are celebrating this huge milestone by having some fun in a way that will benefit the communities we serve,” said Annie Snead, Community Advocacy Partner at Ent, “This book drive is meaningful because it will help get books into the hands of children in Colorado to help them develop valuable literacy skills and promote the joy of reading.”
To sweeten the deal, members who donate books at any Ent service center location will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win one of five $500 Visa gift cards. Winners will be notified on March 20, 2023.
Book donations will be collected and distributed to the following Colorado nonprofits:
- CASA (multiple sites in Colorado)
- Bal Swan (Broomfield)
- Early Connection (Colorado Springs)
- Colorado Youth for Change (Denver)
- CPCD (Denver)
