Ent Credit Union opens applications for $300,000 in YES Grant funding for Colorado nonprofits supporting youth
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Attention Colorado nonprofits! Ent Credit Union’s Youth Endowment Series (YES) grant application process is now open through March 21, 2025. This year, Ent is awarding $300,000 in funding to support nonprofit organizations that provide youth programming. If your organization is a 501(c)(3) and your programs benefit Colorado youth, we encourage you to apply. All grant recipients will be notified by May.
"Supporting the youth in our communities is at the heart of what we do through the YES Grants program," said Annie Snead, Director of Community Advocacy, Ent Credit Union. "For more than 65 years, Ent Credit Union has been committed to helping Colorado nonprofits create stronger, thriving communities. When we work together to support kiddos today, we are setting them up to become tomorrow’s leaders." Since 2000, Ent YES Grants totaling more than $2.2 million have helped more than 300 Colorado nonprofits serve children of all ages in crucial and life-changing ways. YES Grants have helped organizations throughout the state provide shelter for children facing abuse, put food on the table, enhanced literacy programs and much more.
All applications are evaluated by a volunteer panel of Ent employees based on the organization's general benefit to the community, potential ability to use the grant to obtain additional funds and degree of current community support, among other criteria. Submissions may address any focus area pertinent to Colorado youth and organizations should request an amount consistent with the impact, reach and expected expenses associated with their program. Nonprofit applicants must serve one or more of the 21 counties Ent serves.
