Ent Credit Union announces a $225,000 Investment in Early Connections Learning Centers
Colorado Springs, Colo. – Today, Ent Credit Union announced a $225,000 investment in support of Early Connections Learning Centers, a leading provider of early childhood education and care in Colorado Springs. The funding will support Early Connections work to build a new child care facility, the Alice Bemis Taylor Center for Early Childhood Education (ABT Center). The Center will increase infant and toddler care availability and will also serve as a regional professional development hub supporting the recruitment, training, and retention of early educators. With the addition of the ABT Center, Early Connections will serve more families and increase access to affordable and high quality child care.
Through this partnership, Ent Credit Union will support Early Connections' mission of ensuring all children have access to high quality, comprehensive early care and education. Through its programming, Early Connections promotes school readiness, lifelong learning, and family well-being for children from birth to age sixteen.
“Ent Credit Union is committed to investing in the future of our community, and we believe that early childhood education is critical to creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning,” said Chad Graves, CEO of Ent Credit Union. “We are proud to partner with Early Connections to support its mission of providing high-quality education and care to young children, and we look forward to seeing its positive impact on families throughout the region.”
“For 126 years, we have supported our community’s need for access to affordable and high-quality early childhood education,” said Liz Denson, President and CEO, Early Connections Learning Centers. “This investment from Ent Credit Union is instrumental as we work to address the current child care crisis facing our community. Early education is the foundation of a child’s learning and is also critical to the economic vitality of a community. Ent Credit Union is a recognized leader in our community, and I am honored and proud to call them partners in this important project.”
Ent Credit Union has a long history of supporting organizations that promote education, health, and well-being in the communities it serves. The sponsorship of Early Connections is part of the credit union's ongoing commitment to investing in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.
