Auto Hail Damage FAQs

When a natural disaster occurs, such as hail, you can count on Ent to help guide you through the process. If you have an Ent Auto Loan and your vehicle has been affected by hail damage, here is what you need to know:

Your first step is to contact your insurance company to report the incident and start your claim process.

Nothing. Your insurance company will communicate with Ent by providing a letter of guarantee by email to TotalLoss@Ent.com or fax to (719) 388-9410, attention Ent Total Loss.

We will review the letter of guarantee then communicate back to your insurance company. Upon receipt of the insurance settlement check, we will apply it to your loan.

Once Ent receives the letter of guarantee from your insurance company, we will process and return it to your insurance company as soon as possible. We understand the urgency to complete the claim; being responsive to you is our top priority.

If you purchased GAP or a warranty from Ent, we will automatically file the claim(s) for you after the insurance settlement check is applied to your loan. If GAP or a warranty was purchased from a dealer, please contact the product provider(s) to start the claim process.

Vehicle loan payoffs can be obtained online at Ent.com/VehiclePayoff

The repair check can either be applied to the balance of the auto loan (the loan payment will not be reduced) or funds can be released to a licensed repair facility. If the cost of repairs is less than the insurance check, the remainder must be applied to the balance of the auto loan.
