Wednesday, July 15: Attracting Media Attention and Making the Most of Your 15 Minutes
In this workshop, you'll learn about the different types of media coverage and how to best package your story to attract meaningful media attention. We'll discuss case studies revealing what works and what doesn't when approaching journalists. As an exercise in getting into the mind of a journalist, each participant will storyboard a news story pertaining to their business. You'll also have the opportunity to do a practice live interview.
