How does a debit card work?
A debit card looks like a credit card and works like a check. Your Ent Visa Debit Card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. To use your debit card you must have an available amount of money in your account to cover your purchases. Please note: If you don’t have money in your account to cover your purchase, you may set up an automatic Overdraft Transfer for free or Opt-In to Courtesy Pay.
What protection does Ent provide to keep my debit card transactions secure?
Protecting your credit and financial identity is our top priority. Ent uses Falcon Fraud ManagerTM to protect your Ent account(s) from fraudulent activity. If a transaction on your account is identified as suspicious, it may be denied and you will be contacted by phone to verify the transaction.
If you receive a call about a purchase made with your Ent Visa Debit Card, please take a moment to verify the information. This will help prevent possible debit card fraud. Please note, verification calls will never ask you for personal information such as your PIN number, CVV2 code, Social Security Number or your Ent Account Number. The verification call will only request information on the transaction(s) in question.
How else can I protect my debit card from fraudulent purchases?
You can add an extra layer of protection when you make purchases online by enrolling in V.me by Visa. For tips on preventing debit card fraud and other types of scams, visit Ent.com/IdentityProtection.
