Ent Credit Union Awards $112K to Savers in 2021

A 99-year-old Colorado Springs member takes top prize, Ent announces 2022 sweepstakes

Colorado Springs, Colo. (January 6, 2022) – As Bruce Boulter conducted the frequent back-and-forth financial transfers involved in the long term care of his 99-year-old mother, Louise, he knew his mother would appreciate him entering her into Ent Credit Union’s “Save A Little, Win A Lot” contest. Though now experiencing memory loss, “Mom had always enjoyed contests,” said Bruce, “I noticed the sweepstakes on Ent’s website while handling my mom’s transactions and decided to enter her in it.” As a member himself since 1984, Bruce naturally referred his mother to Ent when she moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to her son in 2018. Three years later, Louise had won the top prize in Ent’s annual sweepstakes.

Each month, 5 qualifying members were randomly selected to receive a $500 cash prize. Each quarter, three qualifying members received a $1,000 cash prize, and, at the conclusion of the annual program, four grand prizes were awarded. At the end of 2021, Ent selected and notified the grand prize winners of its “Save A Little, Win A Lot” program:

  • $25,000 winner – Louise B.
  • $20,000 winner – Dereck M.
  • $15,000 winner – Jill M.
  • $10,000 winner – Sheila W.

Bruce indicated that the $25,000 would certainly help defray the expenses of his mother’s care, often greatly exceeding $5,000 per month. Despite the severe memory loss Louise is currently suffering, Bruce is confident that if he had presented this windfall to his mother even a few years ago, she would certainly have wanted to pay some of it forward. “Mom would agree that in this situation, one should keep some and give lots.”

Ent has already announced it’s 2022 “Save A Little, Win A Lot” sweepstakes, details of which can be found at Save a Little. Win a Lot. | Ent Credit Union.
