Ent's First-Time Borrower Program

How can you qualify for your own loan if you don't have any credit history?

At most financial institutions, it could be a tough question to answer. But not at Ent. Our First-Time Borrower program can help you start right with your first loan on your own.

We know most young adults do a good job of managing money, and that's why we want to help you learn to manage credit. If you're at least 18 years old and have a good relationship with the credit union, we can help. By good relationship, we mean no history of bad checks, negative balances, or other indicators that you might not be ready for the responsibility of a loan. It's even ok if you have no credit history; we know you won't have any history if you've never had credit.

Program Details

Once you've qualified for the program and attended a special credit workshop, you'll get a better rate. Really, it's that simple. The workshop covers credit reports, scores, and history, as well as types of loans, budgeting, and the loan closing process. It's all great information, even if you're not ready to apply on your own.

You'll meet with one of our Senior Lending Specialists who will help you all the way from the application process through the loan closing. If you need reminders when your payments are due, we'll do that, too. We want to help make getting your first loan a great experience - and one that will help you establish and build a good credit history.

When you are ready, start right, start at Ent.
